A controversial abortion bill, SB 290, sponsored by Sen. Anitere Flores (R-Miami) passed the Senate Health Regulation Committee 5-2 Wednesday. The bill, which has two stops left before the floor, requires much more state regulation of abortions and abortion clinics.
